Today is Thursday, and you know what I love about Thursdays?
Its another day to wake up, to breathe, to feel alive. I know the typical day to look forward to is Friday because its the end of the week..but every day holds a new experience, a new opportunity, or a new relationship. Embrace it :)
As I was driving to class this morning I was paying attention, of course, to the road and the car in front of me. I absorbed the heavy gray and black colors, the maroon base of the car in front of me, the cement…and then a warmth encompassed my heart and I looked to the sky. The sun was radiating through the clouds and giving the sky a gold highlight, and the clouds were beautiful soft sculptures rising from the crisp blueness of the sky. It was absolutely gorgeous.
Yes today, I love this day.
